How To Tags - Filtered Search On List Panel Yesterday I mentioned I would share a new feature.  This is so amazingly simple I shouldnt get excited about it, but I am.  This feature will shave off time that I use the system.  Check out this awesomeness (simple, yet awesome!): This is a snippet of the Detail Page (the page you are on that shows you a company, or in this case, a person).  Its on the right of the page. Heres what we did: we made your tags hyperlinked.  When you click on the hyperlink, it takes you to the List Panel view, with a filtered search of just that tag. Is that awesome, or what??? Yes, its awesome.  Heres why: Lets say you are poking around JibberJobber and you come upon a Contact or Company that you kind of forgot about. From the moment you come in and greet your colleagues to the moment you leave the office and wish everyone a good evening, it’s likely that you’ll never stop engaging throughout the day. Every day is a constant process of writing emails, delegating tasks, calling a partner, chatting with a colleague about a new project, organizing meetings with the department and creating written content to share new business ideas. There is no denying it: Communication is an essential skill of modern work life. Even though it is one of the most crucial soft skill in any profession, it is also one of the most difficult to master. In fact, more often than not, you find yourself stuck in a conversation that isn’t moving in the right direction â€" or moving at all â€" and you have no idea of how to sort it out. Contrary to what most professional résumés might suggest, the art of communicating effectively, openly and productively is rare in business. There’s a good reason for it; people make businesses. And people are made of emotions as varied as boredom, frustration, confusion or fear. It’s the combination of these feelings that can affect the way you communicate. Are you stuck in an awkward business conversation? It is because of any of the following reasons: You’re not sure how to progress effectively You need to approach each conversation as a productive tool. A conversation that doesn’t create any outcome is a waste of time. Unconsciously, you might not know how to transform a meaningless conversation into a productive exchange. Indeed, at its core, a conversation sets an environment in which two or more individuals connect. Unproductive conversations can be changed and directed in the appropriate direction if you understand what you are trying to achieve. Even though you might be doing your best to cope, some harsh words spoken in a heated conversation at work can hit you harder than they should. You’ve lost focus You’re sitting in a meeting.   As the conversation goes back and forth between colleagues, you find yourself thinking about your beach holiday. Before you know it, you’re distracted and are not paying any attention to the conversation. Distractions are a toll on productivity and can affect the way you engage â€" or fail to â€" in the conversation. However, you can train your mind to stay focused by checking-in. This is an intentional practice to engage every participant at the beginning of a meeting. In a team, you can intentionally share what is on your mind before a meeting.   That enables you to build a connection with your colleagues and set aside unnecessary worries. You don’t know how to negotiate When you are in a conversation with a potential client, you need to be in a position of negotiating a business deal. However, for a lot of people, negotiation is a complicated process. For instance, inexperienced negotiators believe they’ve got a deal when a lead asks for the price. In reality, you need to be able to recognize interested leads from people who are only comparing prices. You should also learn to discuss requirements in detail to gain a better understanding of the situation. Negotiating is about building a positive connection, not sharing prices. Business communication is an art that is influenced by your feelings and your experience. The more you know about yourself, the better you can manage bad habits and create a positive playground for productive conversations.

They may also to identify specific areas which require more targeted interventions, increasing overall ROI.   Either way, evidence suggests ROI can vary from £2 for every £1 spent to £34 depending on the type of program. The goals of many wellbeing programs are likely far broader than this, so start by addressing how you define ROI and then adjusting it. Even with the help of student financial aid, some schools are simply too pricey for many young Americans. However, there are alternatives that any student and parent can get behind.For one, the best colleges are not the most expensive. Ivy League schools always come to mind as some of the best, but history and price does not equal an exceptional education.Many outstanding schools exist that will never make the top ten lists, and that are well within a reasonable price range for financial aid. Plus, those common US News World Reportcollege ranking guides are all based on arbitrary numbers that change every year, and many schools will lie to keep their rankings up. There is simply no scientific rating to accurately rank the best schools in America.Instead, you should shop aroundand look for the schools that fit your needs best. If that means small classes and lower costs, then so be it. Do your research on professors and degree programs, but don’t let arbitrary lists deter you from seeking o ut the best colleges.Plus, in-state public schools tend to be a better long-term investment than expensive private schools.Community colleges are also a wonderful option for low-income families, or even those students that are unsure about their degree path.Many community colleges offer quality education for a fraction of the price, and those credits can be transferred to bigger universities if students even want to switch schools. Since even an associate’s degree can increase your chances of having a better salary, it’s worth it to go at least for a few years.If you find later down the road that you enjoy it, you can always go back and finish up school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or even more.
